We take pride in offering high quality Ontario premium lamb raised locally. Lamb meat that is nutritious, a good source of iron and vitamins and is rich in protein that and balanced in essential amino acids along with health-promoting omega 3 fatty acids. It is particularly rich in vitamin B-12 and in niacin, zinc and iron. Compared to other meats, lamb contains very little marbling (fat in the meat). Only one third of fat in lamb is saturated, so the majority of the fat is on the edges of the meat. This means that the excess fat is easily trimmed off, which means fewer calories. The really good news is lamb is a relatively forgiving meat to prepare for your meal.

Delivery
We deliver a market ready lamb, to be processed on your behalf, to a local butcher shop that is a 3rd generation family owned business that, is licensed and government meat inspected. Halal slaughter ritual must be indicated at time of order. You can expect your order to be hand butchered, come wrapped in food grade pink butcher paper and hand labeled with the lamb cut that is in the package, neatly packed in a box and frozen.
Availability
Lamb availability is seasonal and we require at least 4 to 5 weeks advance notice to schedule your lamb order for processing. No on-farm slaughter or live animals sold without transport that meets code of practice. The final weight in the box depends on the live weight of the lamb and the amount of trim requested.
